How do u judge?

from wat i've learn in social psycho.. it is true tat more often than not we tend to judge people too quickly n simply from their behaviour at a particular moment.. we often commit a mistake called fundamental attribution error(FAE) whereby we overestimate the extent to which a person's behaviour is due to internal factors(personality) and underestimate the role of situational factors.. in simple terms, we tend to attribute a person's behaviour to the type of person he is n we fail to look further for any other possible external reasons to tat behaviour.

take this for example: u were at a cafe n a waitress came to ur table to take orders.. as u were unable to make up ur mind, she got impatient n said she hasn't got whole day waiting.. wat would be ur impression at this moment?

wat if u were to find out tat she's a single mother who has stayed up whole night taking care of her sick child, her car broke-down on the way to work this morning, there is not enough waiters tat day so she has more tables to cover n the cook is screaming at her to get the orders faster.. put urself in her shoe n think of how u'd be acting tat day. would your impression change by now?

so the next time u judge.. how far will u look?

Another one.. idealist??

Your Life Path Number is 9

Your purpose in life is to make the world better

You are very socially conscious and a total idealist.
You think there are many things wrong with the world, and you want to fix them.
You have a big idea of how to world could be, and you'll sacrifice almost anything to work towards this dream.

In love, you can easily see the beauty in someone else. And you never cling too tightly.

You are capable of great love, but it's hard for you to focus your love on one person or relationship.
You have a lot of outward focus, and you tend to blame the world for your failures.
You are often disappointed by the realities of life - it's hard for you to accept the shortcomings of the world.
What Is Your Life Path Number?

How i wish...

been really long since i updated.. actually i've had alot of thoughts over those time but guess i'm just too busy or half-way writing it out, i just lose the flame/petrol

anyway since the semester break have just started, finally get to relax abit.. today was the start of NTU IG(International Games) n each time during such competitions i'll usually ponder over a past regret i can never let go.. it all starts from seeing those superb players tat will make u admire how good they are n the thought of how u wish u r better or at least on par with them.

thinking of this always brings up the past moment when i let go of badminton after primary sch.. tat decision will always haunt me forever although each time i'll console myself tat it was due to external justification.. some may have heard this from me but here goes the story:

since standard 3 i've been undergoing private coaching for badminton together with one very good fren of mine(at tat time).. we're always a doubles pair in school games... then things started to change when we finish primary sch n went to secondary sch. since the 2 of us consider ourself pretty good we decided to apply to enter the sch team for secondary sch. the teacher in charge was actually the uncle of tat fren of mine so we tot this could be an even better chance.. but instead he turned us down without even giving us a trial.

the reason behind this?? he's afraid tat ppl will say he choose us because my fren is his nephew! the 2 of us will never forget how much we hated him then n from then on, slowly we started giving up on badminton. my fren was the 1st to quit the coaching n soon after so did i.. we also started to go our different ways with him starting his obsession with bicycles n me goin for computer games. sometimes ppl tell me to imagine how good i'd be by now if this hasn't happened.. well i wished the same

but thinking over it again.. quitting was a choice made not forced.. even when i think about giving up table tennis now, i'll think of will i regret this again the same way i've regretted the past.. i do not know.. each time u c ppl do so well n u want to be the same, the desire is burning but then again later u'll think of "will it be worthwhile to pursue it further?"

now n then i'd think:
"How i wish... i've not given up in the past"
